In an effort to unite both Tower Barracks and Rose Barracks, the 2d Cavalry Regiment will host Community Day on May 23, 2019 on behalf of the 7th Army Training Command.

The day will begin with the Ruck/Run to Honor – a 10.5-mile route that will start from the Camp Aachen soccer field and conclude at the Memorial Gym on Rose Barracks. The ruck mark will begin at 6 a.m. followed by the run at 6:35 a.m. In addition to the 10.5-mile route, there will be a 10K and 5K race. Soldiers, family members and civilians are invited to participate at no charge. Participants can elect to run or ruck the route as an individual competitor or part of a formation.
