One more federal judge halts President Trump’s policy on transgender troops

H/t to Reuters.  In July, President Trump announced via Twitter than transgender personnel would no longer be able to serve in the United States military. Formal guidance to the Department of Defense followed.

The administration has cited excessive medical costs as one reason for the policy. However, last month and again this week, federal judges have halted implementation of the President’s policy.

The latest decision by U.S. District Judge Marvin Garbis requires that the military continue to fund sex-reassignment surgeries as the case proceeds.  Read more at Reuters…
