Pence helps give Vietnam Veterans Memorial a holiday washing

The Vietnam Veterans Memorial at the National Mall in Washington, DC is a wall containing the names of all American veterans killed in the Vietnam War.

On Veterans Day, Vice President Mike Pence and his wife joined dozens of volunteers and spent 40 minutes washing the surface of the wall in which the veterans’ names are engraved.

The Vice President said it was a great way to start the holiday.
