The evolving strategic vision for Navy’s SPAWAR

When most people think about the Navy, they think about ships, SEALs, submarines, and fighter aircraft taking off from aircraft carriers.  These are all important, but many other people and systems are crucial to modern warfare.

One area of increasing importance is cyber warfare.  Consisting of over 10,000 personnel worldwide, the Navy’s Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) provides the Navy with interoperable and secure information warfare capability.
